2005 Tournament // Montreal, Canada

champion2005MinneapolisCongratulations to Manager Tony Beugen and the Minneapolis All-Stars for capturing the 2005 Tournament Championship! The Qualifying Round standings reflect how closely matched this years teams were, and how stiff the competition was. Under sunny skies, Tony’s gang parlayed clutch hitting and stellar defense to outmuscle Cory Hoffman’s relentless Gamblers by a score of 15-5. Both teams showed why they made it to the finals, and put on a great show for the fans. This year marks the 2nd time that Minneapolis has won in Montreal… it couldn’t happen to a classier bunch of guys.

Our committee would like to thank everyone for coming to Montreal and sharing this experience with us. To many of you, your encouragement and support has meant the world to us. To all the teams, to our friends and fellow participants, we truly look forward to meeting up with you all in Chicago.

Thank you all,

Mark Rothpan, David Goodman, Marven Goodman,
Mitchell Lerner, David Friedman, and Christine Infilise
